Dillon Wood Bead Board Full Size Captains Bed

Dillon Wood Bead Board Full Size Captains Bed in Gray, Blue, Espresso, & White

The Dillon Full Size Captain’s Bed combines a classic beadboard design with a bookcase headboard and flexible under-bed storage options. Its dual-height design allows you to configure the bed with a Twin or Full size trundle, 2-drawer storage, or stacked drawer storage, depending on your needs.

The bookcase headboard keeps books and everyday items conveniently within reach, while the under-bed options make efficient use of bedroom space for either additional sleeping space or organized storage.

Available in White, Gray, Espresso and Blue.

This is stronger because the first paragraph immediately explains why this captain's bed is different. It also leads naturally into the Features section and then the Dual-Height Configuration section.

Dual-Height Configuration

The Dillon Full Size Captain’s Bed features a dual-height design, allowing the side rails to be positioned at either 12" or 19.5" off the floor. Choose the height based on whether you prefer a trundle or additional drawer storage.

12" Setting – Trundle or 2-Drawer Storage

With the side rails positioned 12" off the floor, choose from:

• Twin Trundle – Provides an additional Twin-size sleeping surface.
• Full Trundle – Provides a larger Full-size sleeping surface.
• 2-Drawer Storage – Two independently operated drawers provide convenient under-bed storage. Storage can be added to one or both sides of the bed.

The Twin and Full trundles include two removable dividers, allowing the trundle to double as a large under-bed storage compartment when a mattress is not being used.

19.5" Setting – Maximum Drawer Storage

Position the side rails 19.5" off the floor to accommodate the 4-drawer stacked storage configuration.

Choose four drawers on one side of the bed, or add storage to both sides for a total of 8 drawers.

The higher setting maximizes organized under-bed storage and is an excellent option when an additional sleeping surface is not needed.

Choosing the Right Configuration

Choose the 12" setting if you want the flexibility of an additional sleeping surface with a Twin or Full trundle, or prefer lower-profile 2-drawer storage.

Choose the 19.5" setting when maximizing under-bed storage is the priority. This setting accommodates the 4-drawer stacked storage configuration, with the option of adding storage to both sides of the bed.

Second, because this is OCF, I would definitely retain and improve the local delivery and assembly information. That's useful differentiation for someone shopping for a large captain's bed in Southern California.

Mattress Requirements

The Dillon Full Size Captain’s Bed accommodates a standard Full size mattress.

When adding a trundle:

• Twin Trundle: Uses a standard Twin size mattress.
• Full Trundle: Uses a standard Full size mattress.
• For proper clearance beneath the bed, we recommend a trundle mattress no more than 8" thick.

Mattresses are sold separately.
